I’m an award-winning portrait and commercial photographer based in New York City. My work has appeared in W Magazine, Condé Nast Traveler, Condé Nast Traveller India, Elite Traveler, The Wall Street Journal, Schön Magazine and CNN.com. My commercial clients include Steve Madden, BMI, Philip Morris International, Solaris Records, The American Heart Association and Squeeze Juice, among others.

I am passionate about shooting portraits that tell a story about an individual, a community or a movement. I believe in the power of photography—particularly portrait photography—to spark discussion and introspection and to create change. My portraits have won awards from PDN and been featured in galleries in New York and Athens.

I love photography so much that I even write about it in my spare time. In 2015, I wrote a book entitled "What They Didn't Teach You in Photo School" (published by Octopus Books and Hachette Press). The book, a guidebook for aspiring photographers and photo school graduates, is currently available at Barnes & Noble and Urban Outfitters stores across the world, or on Amazon.

I recently wrote another book entitled “If You’re Bored With Your Camera, Read This” (Octopus Press) which features my top photography tips and tricks. The book will hit bookstores in September 2017.
